MEASURING GLUCOSE WITH THE GLUCOMETER

Glucotest is an assistance test system for investigating blood glucose levels.

It is used especially by patients with diabetes at home, but also in hospital conditions or in emergencies for the rapid determination of blood sugar. The glucotest (glucometer) is based on an advanced technology that allows simple and precise monitoring of blood sugar, in a very short time.

PATIENT PREPARATION

·       The necessity of performing the procedure is explained;

·       The patient's consent is obtained. The procedure is explained to the patient to reduce his anxiety and ensure his cooperation;

·       The patient's privacy is ensured, if necessary, the patient is positioned to be as comfortable as possible;

·       The patient's hands should be washed with warm water and soap and then wiped and dried

·       Antiseptic solutions are not used because they can negatively influence the measurement.
