Bladder survey contraindications
- acute infections of the urethra, which raise the risk of seeding the bladder with pathogenic germs
- traumatic rupture of the urethra, to avoid the formation of false channels or the aggravation of the perineal hematoma
- tight urethral strictures, situations in which filiform plugs are used
Incidents and accidents
- the appearance of false paths due to urethral strictures
- the appearance of clots that plug the probe holes
- urethral bleeding during catheterization maneuvers
- ex-vacuo hemorrhage
- chills and thermal rise.
